Mazda MX-5 Launch Edition
The
Launch Edition was based on a standard 2.0l MX-5 Sport
and was the first of the NC model to enter the Mazda
Dealer network in 2005. Only 7500 units were available
world wide and would cost you £19,999.00 to buy
new in the UK where just 300 units were allocated
This special version was finished in Velocity Red and
sported a wide range of special features including front
fog lamps, 17" alloy wheels, 205/45 R17 Michelin
tyres and locking wheel nuts
Further
enhancements included chrome door handles, headlamp
reflectors, fog lamp rings, front bumper grille and
windscreen surround
The
interior was trimmed in luxurious black and red leather
with matching door panels. Aluminium effect dash trims,
door speaker grilles, air vent bezels with chrome dial
rings and style bar trims finished off the interior
perfectly
Further enhancements included heated seats with a leather
steering wheel, handbrake grip and gear knob
A
top of the range 6-CD Bose sound system was also used
to provide the in-car entertainment and featured no
less that 7 upgraded speakers
Each
vehicle had its own numbered plaque on the centre console
just in front of the gear stick
