Mazda MX-5 Berkeley
The
Berkeley is based on a standard 1800cc model and was
named after the world famous university in california.
It also commemorates the last of the Mk.1 MX-5's to
roll off the production line in 1998. Only 400 units
were made and cost £17,600.00 when purchased new
This
special version was finished in Sparkle Green and sported
specially made 15" alloy wheels, locking wheel
nuts and a smart chrome boot rack
The
interior was trimmed in black and grey leather with
matching door trim panels. The centre console featured
wood 'effect' trim complimented by a Momo leather steering
wheel and a leather gear knob and hand-brake grip
Further
enhancements included a Clarion DRX-5375R single CD
player and a chrome cockpit brace mounted behind the
seats
Standard equipment also included a security immobiliser,
power steering and stainless steel scuff plates
