The Icon was based on a standard model MX-5 with a choice of two engine sizes. The 1.8 would cost you £16,825.00 with the 2.0 costing slightly more at £17,825.00

This model was available in Copper Red Mica, Marble White or Stormy Blue Mica and a total of 1250 units were made from June 2007 with the following engine sizes

• 1800cc - 875 units
• 2000cc - 375 units

This special version sported a chrome style bar, front fog lamps, 16" alloy wheels with low profile tyres and locking wheel nuts

The interior was upholstered in luxurious black leather with matching door trim panels and seats that had the word "ICON" stitched in both headrests. Aluminium effect dash trims, door speaker grilles, air vent bezels and chrome dial rings finished off the interior perfectly

Further enhancements included heated seats, climate control and a CD/MP3 player with 6 upgraded speakers
